OPPOSITES INCREASE OUR VANTAGE POINT
The space between things, the silence between good friends, the time between notes of music, the break time at our conferences are all opposites that increase our vantage points.
Look at the vase pictured here. As you stare at it, it suddenly will become the profile of two people facing each other. Do you see it? To see the opposite is always illuminating! The I.M.A. encourages opposite viewpoints as they may change our normal perspectives with new insights.
Some organizations demand everyone should look alike. As their group grows, all you see is the same thing. This becomes boring and bland. The I.M.A., however, believes that true strength is found in diversity and diversity adds color and dimension to the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The I.M.A. actually promotes differences in personalities and character. We love innovations, and those "movers and shakers. " Working together, we can present a beautiful picture of our Lord Jesus Christ to the world.
