About Us
POWER BELONGS IN THE LOCAL CHURCH We believe the New Testament established and legitimizes the power and right of the local church to be a sovereign entity. Therefore, the leading edge of the fight for lost souls is in the local church and its Pastor. Some groups believe the power lies in the head office where few men rule over hundreds of local pastors. The I.M.A. places the power where it should be with the local pastor serving on the front lines and not with a few leaders who may have lost touch with the feeling of the everyday needs of God's people. Local Pastors select all district official and all national officers in open forums not in secret backroom ballots. Remember, all officials are servants to the membership and may not involve themselves in any local church at any time. |
