RECOGNIZED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THE I.R.S.

Our Constitution and by-laws are recognized by the Federal Government. Therefore, we do not have to spend valuable time discussing and debating who we are and what our direction should be in today's world.

We also have been recognized by the I.R.S. since 1954. If you are accepted as a member of the I.M.A., you are automatically recognized by the I.R.S. as a licensed minister.

We are also one of the few religious associations who can offer blanket coverage for your church. This alone should be attractive to independent and Pentecostal churches that do not have their own I.R.S. 501(C)3 determination letter. Formerly, this I.M.A. advantage has not been emphasized. It's our understanding that new groups cannot receive this very important and certainly helpful blanket coverage.
